2002 thermal development bundle

This bundle is the densest part of the archive. It contains the development notes for Cool Cell, Di-thermal roofs, storage, pool-heater cooling, plate testing, double play, and related experiments. Many of the later concept pages come directly out of this year.

”Night and Day” essay	2 files	Radiant framing of night-sky cooling (two copies of the same text).
Pool-heater cooling	3 files	Retrofit cooling path (2 pages + 1 alternate-copy stub).
Plate tests	2 files	Numerical grounding: Stickney/Baer heated-vs-unheated plate U-values (two copies).
Double play / list attendees	2 files	Conference attendee list and John Solso’s “Double Plays: Old and New” article.

Several families contain alternate copies of the same document rather than distinct texts, and the “Work Leading Up (Page 1)” scan is mislabeled — it actually carries a continuation of “Night and Day.”

Why it matters

hardware experiments + storage variants + measurement notes = the engineering core

The bundle is a raw-source summary, not a conclusion page. It preserves provenance for the file family and points to the compiled concept pages that already distill the ideas.
