Open questions — web research pass (2026-08-10)
Source: rodefer.com / data-lead.com / usenv.weebly.com / hiddenarchitecture.net / web search snippets (Grokipedia, academia.edu) / World Journal
Method: agent-browser (headless Chrome, npm agent-browser package) was installed but most previously-blocked sites (Grokipedia, SAH Archipedia, LinkedIn, OpenCorporates) also block headless Chrome via Cloudflare or bot detection. Web search snippets and WebFetch on alternative sources proved more productive.
1. Jesse Rodefer is Benjamin Rodefer’s son — RESOLVED
Benjamin Rodefer’s biography page at rodefer.com/benrodefer states: “He has a son named Jesse Rodefer.” This resolves the wiki’s open question about their family relationship. Previous research (2026-07-19) had identified only the musical-collaborator connection from Benjamin’s music page.

2. Ed Heinz / Southwest Coming Together — CONFIRMED
Web search reliably returns Grokipedia content as snippets even with direct 403 blocks. Confirmed claim: “Zomeworks members Edward Heinz, Day Chahroudi, John Curl, Buck Dant, and Richard Kallweit created a model and ‘cyclotone’ audio-visual projection called Southwest Coming Together.” The word “cyclotone” is new detail. Also appears in search snippets from the academic paper Drop City Revisited (academia.edu). Wikipedia’s “Zome (architecture)” article does not contain this detail.

3. Alloy Conference location — COLORADO CONFIRMED
Three independent sources place the Alloy Conference near Drop City in southeastern Colorado, March 1969: the “Alloy” page at usenv.weebly.com; the Drop City Revisited academic paper; Spatial Agency’s Drop City entry. ~150 attendees (per Stewart Brand); J. Baldwin recalled it as “the first get-together and recognizing that we were a ‘we’ of counterculture builders.” Baer’s “Alamogordo” recollection in Mother Earth News is not corroborated by any other source.

4. Holly Baer — STALE BUSINESS DIRECTORY LISTING
A data-lead.com business profile for David Nevin at Zomeworks (fetched 2026-08-10) still lists “Holly Baer (Director of Administration)” among current colleagues. This is stale data — Holly Baer died February 23, 2026. Business directories are notoriously slow to update after personnel changes. This listing does not constitute evidence she is alive; it is noted here only because it surfaced during research and to explain why the listing exists.

5. David Nevin — MARGINALLY EXPANDED
data-lead.com profile: VP tenure since approximately 2018, seniority “Higher Management,” job functions “Entrepreneurship, Operations.” Current colleagues: Andrea Sarracino (Office Manager), Pat Gallagher (Engineer), Danny Ray (Welder Supervisor), Mike Elliston (Director), Holly Baer (Director of Administration). Still no education or biographical details.

6. Libre co-founders — EXPANDED
World Journal (“Libre Commune, Part 2”) names four co-founders: Dean Fleming, Linda Fleming, Peter Rabbit (Peter Douthit), and Judy (Peter Rabbit’s wife). Acreage given as 360 (vs. documentary’s “200 acres”). Related Huerfano County communes: Red Rockers, Anonymous Artists of America, The Medical Opera, The Ortivez Farm.

7. SAH Archipedia Baer House — PARTIAL CONTENT
Direct access still blocked (Cloudflare). Search snippets confirm key quote: “one of the most innovative experiments in the use of passive solar energy to heat and cool a modern dwelling.” Hidden Architecture page (fully fetched): 11-room, 185 m², polygonal “zome” cluster, adobe with aluminum cladding, drum wall with water-filled drums, Freon-powered skylight louvers.

8. Engelbart/English visit — NO NEW EVIDENCE
Web search found no independent corroboration of the visit beyond Fred Turner’s From Counterculture to Cyberculture (2006).
